(i also recommend using wired m/kb, no batteries no delay) You can also buy a mouse with extra buttons, a lot of people use the extra side buttons for hero, TP, tab, etc. <- totally custom layout, programmable, swap-able <- multiple programmable layouts, side #s & swap-able <- 6 programmable buttons on left side (logitech #1)
heres some better keyboards that you can actually program and customize yourself Pressing FN to access those keys is not useful for competitive gaming! just get a regular keyboard instead of buying a separate numpad. Why do you use a keyboard thats missing a lot of keys such as: numpad, F1-F12, capslock, and ~ is so far away! you know those are useful keys right? F1,F2,F3= heroes, F10= menu, F11= ally resources, capslock can be swapped with backspace for easier access, and lets not forget about the arrow keys which many people like using WoW! that keyboard is like $300? I would recommend selling that, its not good for RTS Gaming If you're interested here it is on Logitech's site and a couple YouTube reviews and comparison for you: All in all this seems like a pretty good deal to me so I wanted to share it will all of you.
There are also some Macro G-keys on the left side. It's fully back light with white LEDs and has an interesting duel-zone controller for them. The board uses all mechanical MX Brown keys (except for some of the multimedia keys because of their form factor). I was actually looking at this board just yesterday and was seeing it between $149.99 and $129.99 on different sites. Amazon does apparently offer a 2 year Extended Warranty for $10 while New egg only has a 1 year Extended for $15 (if that matters to you).

It's going for $107.99 on both sites and both with free shipping. psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00 Here's a link to the exact keyboard on Amazon. Heck I'm looking at them to replace my 2013 Death Adder some time. After this keyboard I will most definitely be buying a logitech keyboard again. It also comes in Cherry Blues, but I was really feeling the browns for some reason. It is highly responsive, the back lighting is adjustable which helps in a ton of situations, and the feeling is superb. I normally play a lot of FPS (Counter Strike & Dirty Bomb), WoW, and Hearthstone. It has been an amazing key board since I got it. At the time I got it off Amazon for $81.99 not really sure where the deal came from but couldn't pass it up. I ended up settling on the Logitech G710+ with brown switches. I used to have the a Blackwidow (had it for probably 5 years) When it finally wore out I decided to do some shopping myself. Hey figured I'd peak my head and and give my 2 cents.
Question 4: what can I watch for in the future to avoid getting screwed by a flimsy product design? Question 3: how common is this in other mechanical keyboards?
But the question is this: are there replacement keys I can get that are made better?

Question 2: I'm probably going to use some kind of adhesive to fix the cracked plastic bits-such as crazy glue or hot glue, maybe even epoxy, but not while the key is installed, of course-just so I can limp this thing along. Question 1: did I just get a weirdly bad G710+ unit? Or is this a common issue with this keyboard? The ones that have cracked from the thin plastic on the key cap posts can sometimes lift off of the mounting posts when my finger tips have even a slight bit of adhesion to them (from, say, the condensation on a cold drink glass still being on my finger as I go back to typing-it sucks the key right off the post).

Specifically, the plastic posts on the underside of the key caps are far, far too thin, and I have had several crack in a way that make them rest very loosely on the keyboard's mounting posts. Let me just say, I love a lot of what this keyboard has going for it, except for one thing: Hello! I am not very well versed in the very enthusiastic community for mechanical keyboards, but I do own one myself: the Logitech 710+.
